Senators, you have all performed miserably. I will now send out telephone conversations to your parents on how to love you less.

And to the 4 that voted against the discussion for repeal, I know you didn't serve in the military, so don't even cite morale, unit cohesion etc etc etc. You have no idea as to what sort of activites these hard chargin motivators do. Some are in the field, some are actively defending the nation against the very thing you miserable cowards are afriad of, some are performing life saving proceedures on straight soldiers, sailors, marines and airmen.

I like history. it also scares me a little when people do or say things because they are historically significant, but ignore or do not make clear the connotations of the original action. To me it's a little like enabling the repetition of history. I'm not saying YOU SHOULD TAKE THIS DOWN RIGHT NOW or anything like that. It's your right to say what you want, of course. I just want to know why you chose to take this statement and use it in a positive light. It's a very curious action in my opinion.
Well, call it a provocation. I chose it because creating artwork is a liberating experience. When i go through a slump and not create something out of nothing I feel oppressed. Being lazy is depressing and downright uninteresting. But when you engage in something physical with a genuine result, it gives you this sense of accomplishment.
It is this rational that the Nazis used that particular saying to numb the senses of their victims. To make them believe that what they are doing is somewhat rewarding in the end. Unfortunately, the end meant oblivion.
For us artists, the end is an infinite number of possibilities expounded on different aesthetic ideas, techniques and styles.
